59.5.11.3 HSM Summary Report

Report Description

The HSM Summary Report contains information on tape media stored in HSM tape libraries, media pools or external racks. Data includes the total number of tapes in the library, media pools or rack, the amount of storage space used, and the total amount of files in the specific location.  

Report Filter

Select one of the parameters to capture the detailed information in the report.

Details:

•Global: selecting the Global parameter displays the total storage space utilized in the tape library, media pools and external racks.

•Media Pool: Retrieve summary information from HSM media pools, a virtual location in HSM with a collection of assets or group of tape media having the same common properties.

•Rack: display the information in an external rack or non-HSM location that stores offline tape media for archiving purposes.
