 • Gateway • 
Computer system that acts as a bridge between networks using different protocols, allowing devices that would normally be unable to communicate to exchange data. Etere web server solutions work seamlessly when deployed behind gateways

 • General Purpose Interface • 
Simple control interface, commonly known as GPI, that sends or receives electrical trigger signals to or from external equipment. Etere allows to use pulses from GPIs to launch an ingest task, execute an automation command, activate video effects, and more

 • Generator Lock • 
Synchronization technique, commonly known as genlock, in which the video output of one source, usually a dedicated reference signal (gen), is used to align (lock) other video sources to a common timing and color reference. Etere allows to use a genlock signal to ensure synchronized ingest and playout operations
