A VDCP restore is a T-workflow action used to automatically transfer media files from a device (export path) supporting the VDCP protocol.
Once saved, VDCP restore actions will be available as action blocks ready to be included within T-workflows.
To configure the VDCP Restore process, the following parameters need to be set:
Step 1 – Get Files from the Archive
• List of paths: If a two-step copy is needed, you must also provide the list of paths where the original files can be found. If no path is provided, the application assumes they are on the VDCP export path. In a two-step copy process, files are copied into the export directory and removed once the copy has been terminated.
Step 2 – VDCP Put
• VDCP Server: Insert the network address or network name.
• VDCP Port: insert the listening port number.
• VDCP export path: Insert the path where the VDCP device saves the exported files.(Intermediate cache).
