Action Description
The Flexi-metadata sets the current time action, allowing the user to write the current system date and time on a specific Flexi-metadata.
Action Parameters
Under this section, it is possible to create new actions based on the following parameters:
Parameters
Name - Give a brief and self-descriptive name to the action.
Flexi-metadata - Specify the metadata to be set.
NB: Only supported types will be selectable; therefore, only date-time metadata will be displayed.
Set mode - Specify the way the Flexi-metadata will be set, that is, if the action will be placed either:
Based on T-workflow - The metadata will be charged for either the asset form to which the T-workflow is attached or the EDL segment for which the T-workflow has been launched)
Always on asset - The metadata will always be set for the asset form to which the T-workflow is attached.
On metafile, the metadata will be checked for the metafile to which the T-workflow is attached.
How to use it
Flexi-metadata set current time actions can be used (in the T-Workflow designer) to, for example, keep track of the date and time on which a specific T-workflow operation has been performed.
