202.6.4.11 Copying structure between stations

This function allows to copy from the one station to another the structure of a schedule(s) including the events scheduled on it. This feature is useful, for example, in case a 'main schedule' is prepared by a certain station (e.g. channel1) to be subsequently distributed to the rest of stations (e.g. channel2, channel3, etc):
The 'Copy structure' function is located under the TOOLS menu, it allows to define the following parameters to perform a more accurate copy:

Copy type - Indicate if it will be copied only the structure

Copy options - Indicate if copied blocks will be connected to source blocks:

•Do not connect: Copied blocks (in the target station) will be independent of source blocks.

•Connect target blocks with source blocks: When a target block is connected to a source block, the source block would mirrored across other station's structure, all changes performed on the source block would be automatically applied to the target block.

•Connect target blocks with source blocks and reassign price list: It would perform the same action as the "Connect target blocks with the source block" plus a reassignment in the target blocks of any price list present on the source blocks.
Moreover, if the target names are the same as source, price lists will be  automatically reassigned.

Days structure to copy - Select the date range from which the schedule structure and events would be taken from.

Target days - This option, enabled only when copying into the same station (e.g. from channel 1 to channel 1), allows to select the date range to which the selected scheduled structure would be copied to.

NB: The target period will always have the same duration as the source period (e.g. one day, one week, one month, etc.)

Destination -
Select the station to which the structure and/or events of the selected days will be copied to.

Once all parameters are set, click on the [Perform the copy] button to start the copy process, in case there are some events already scheduled in the target station, the operator will be prompted to either overwrite the structure or bypass the structure.

Stations with Different Time Zones
If the source and destination stations are in different time zones, it is required to define some parameters on the destination station under the Etere Configuration > Settings > System module, setting the main and local times as follows:
•Main Time: Time zone of the station where the schedule will be copied from (source).
•Local time: Time zone of the station where the schedule will be copied to (target).
