59.5.7.8 Devices Used Space

Report Description

The 'Devices Used Space' report allows for generating a notification displaying the space used by a group of meta devices, detailing the station for which they are used and the asset types stored on them.

Notice that this report is based on the information also displayed in the Etere configuration module, under the Settings | Devices | Cloud-devices section, where all station's meta devices are displayed, including their used space, being possible to set for every one of them the maximum usable space for both the station's assets and shared ones.

Report Filters

All the parameters that permit detailed report generation have been distributed across seven different tabs to allow for a more straightforward configuration. By default, all filters are disabled (i.e., either blank or unselected); to enable them, it is enough to configure at least one parameter inside. Available filters include:

•Device: Indicate the device for which the report will be generated, that is, the storage meta device on which assets are stored.

•Types: Select the asset types for generating the report. Only the space occupied by assets of the selected types will be counted.

•Enabled assets only: If activated, only the space occupied by assets enabled for the current station will be considered for the report.

Report Preview

The [Settings] permits configuring the page layout of the outgoing document; once filters and settings have been set, it will be possible to select between displaying a preview using the related [Preview] button or printing the document directly using the [Report] button. Please note that some reports permit the export of the generated document in the most common formats (PDF, CSV, DOC, XLS, XML, etc) just by using the [Export] button.
