In case it is intended to send SNMP messages to the Etere customer support service, it will be required that your local Monitoring Console meets the following requisites:
•The local Monitoring Console must count with an active internet connection,
•Firewalls present in the network must be set to allow data traffic as specified in the Open the Windows Firewall for SNMP messages chapter.
•The public IP address (172.31.231.40) of the SNMP Console of the Etere customer support service must be set in the connection parameters. This feature requires a configured VPN connection between the customer and Etere.
