59.6.2.108 Grass Valley - M Series resource editor

This form allows you to set the most general features for videoserver resources.

Some of the fields in this form are automatically updated when you create the resource:
✓Type: shows the resource's type
✓Number: shows the resource's ordinal number used to identify that resource, as you have several resources of the same type

Users have to fill in other fields:
✓Name: You have to insert a description to identify the resource (e.g. GVM Broadcast1, GVM Ingest1)
✓IP Address: IP address or name of the videoserver. Insert it if you want to use the driver AMPIP over the network.
✓Remote port: Insert it if you want to use the driver AMPIP over the network.
✓Features
➢Preroll Time - Set in mmsec. the time videoserver takes to do preroll (default value 0)
➢Skip Time - Set in mmsec. the time videoserver takes to skip from one video file to the next one in broadcasting (default value 0)
➢CueRec Time - Set in mmsec. time videoserver takes to do CueRec (default value 0)
✓Channels Number: Set the resource channels' number; you must set both Input and Output channels.
When you press Apply, a GVM resource is added to the resource tree.
After which, you will have to set the Channels. To do this setting, you have to highlight the resource's part that you have to set (Channel), then press Modify Resource.
