72.6.6 Restore and Conforming

Restore

Specify here the parameters that will permit to restore all files needed for the conforming. Available parameters include:

Restore

Workflow - The T-workflow to be used for restoring video files present in the conforming playlist.

NB: This T-workflow is the same set in Etere Configuration > Configuration Editor > T-Workflow > Default T-workflows as restore for conforming.

Codecs - The codec of the files to be restored (e.g. MPG, WMV, WAVE, etc).

NB: Please note that all codecs managed in this module must count with the "proxy preview" property enabled.

cloud-device - Specify the cloud-device path from which files will be taken for the conforming.

NB: In case needed files are not present in this metadevice they will be restored using the specified T-workflow.
 
Conforming

Indicate the parameters that will permit the conforming of all files forming part of the story. Available parameters include:

Conforming

Workflow - The T-workflow to be used for the conforming, it must contain a conforming action (i.e. based on EtConform.exe).

NB: This T-workflow is the same set in Etere Configuration > Configuration Editor > T-Workflow > Default T-workflows as conforming.

PC - The Etere Pc that will perform the conforming, that is, the server on which Etere Data Mover is installed.
This parameter is required as the XML file generated by Etere Story Creator contains the list of files with their related media folders (i.e. translated paths).

cloud-device - The cloud-device path in which the XML file to be used by the 'conformer' and the final conformed video will be stored.
