Action Description
The "Original source check" action allows a check of the original source from which a particular asset has been acquired, providing specific outputs according to the source:
•ActiveSync (AS) - Etere ActiveSync has acquired the asset media.
•Asset form (AF) - The asset media has been acquired through the Etere Media Library.
•Conforming (CO) - The asset media has been acquired through a conforming using Etere MAM.
•External archive (EX) - The asset media has been acquired through the External Digital Archive service.
•File transfer (FT) - The asset media has been acquired through an Etere DataMover transfer.
•HSM Recatalogue (HSM) - The asset media has been acquired through the recatalogue function of Etere HSM.
•Import (IM) - The asset media has been acquired through an import.
•Ingest (IN) - The asset media has been acquired through a standard capture using Etere Ingest.
•NLE Transfer (NL) - The asset media has been acquired from a Non-linear Editing system.
•Tapeless reception (TR) - The asset media has been acquired through the Etere Tapeless Reception service.
•Transcoding (XC) - The asset media has been acquired through transcoding using Etere DataMover.
•UDP Transfer (UP) - The asset media has been acquired through a UDP transfer.
•Unknown (UK) - The asset media has been acquired from an unknown source (i.e. it is not specified).

•Name: Give the action a brief and self-descriptive name (e.g., check asset source).
How to use it
"Original source check" actions can be used (in the T-Workflow designer) to, for example, check if an asset has been acquired via the web through the tapeless reception service.
