What is the SIAE?
SIAE stands by 'Società Italiana degli Autori ed Editori' (i.e.: Italian Collecting Society), which is the organization that act as an intermediary between rights owners and broadcasters to give licenses for using copyrighted material, receipt payments for these licenses, and divide all returns between the related agents.
Assets and SIAE Data
Etere, through its Media Library module allows operators to compile copyrighted asset information, this information is crucial for the elaboration of reports about transmitted ROF assets liable for taxation to be electronically sent to the SIAE society in a format according to the SIAE specifications.

SIAE data can be compiled, according to the nature of the asset, through the following tabs:

ROM tab
Please note that whether the working tab is ROF or ROM, the following buttons will allow to manage information compiled on them:
Compile the SIAE ROF (or ROM) form: In case SIAE fields have been -optionally- mapped to Flexi-metadata, this button will automatically compile all SIAE fields (except the "Title" field) with the related mapped Flexi-metadata.
Delete the SIAE ROF (or ROM) form: Removes the current asset from the SIAE Registry.
Save: Inserts the current asset and its compiled data into the SIAE Registry.
