72.2.2.66 Tapeless Reception

This section allows you to approve the asset to be used in Tapeless Reception. By specifying data presented in this section, the asset become available to the supplier via the Tapeless Reception web-interface allowing it to upload video files related to the asset in question.

Tapeless Reception

In order to make an asset available for upload to a certain agency for a determinate period of time, just compile the following fields:

Person in charge - The operator who activates the Tapeless Reception and will track the process.
Supplier - The external agency that will perform the upload of the asset.
Scheduled arrival - The expected deadline to upload the requested media file.

Important considerations
➢ In order to be available for reception, an "expiry date" must be set for the asset under the "Rights Management" tab.
➢ In order to be available for reception, no media file should be linked to the asset prior to its upload.
➢ Assets set to be received via Tapeless Reception will not be able to being recorded as they will be expected from an external agency

Monitoring tapeless reception

Once requested, assets can be easily tracked according to the following parameters under the search tab:
