The basic difference between deleting and expiring an asset form is that a deleted form cannot be recovered ever again unless you create an identical one, but an expired form can be recovered when you change or delete the expiry date (you can search expired forms as well). An expired code is logically removed from the Etere's database but a deleted code is physically removed.
To prevent a form being seen during a search you can: delete the form or make it expire. To delete an asset form follow the instructions from the chapter Deletions, to make it expire, on the other hand, do as described below:
1-In Etere Scheduling | Media Library select the form you want to expire;
2-Go to the Rights Management tab in expiry date and insert the expiry date;
3-The form will not be seen after the expiry date
After then, you won't see anymore the expired asset form unless you enable the 'search expired assets only' when searching.
