9.3.2.4 Tapeless Reception

The Tapeless Reception tab allows you to specify who will provide the video files related to the season. It will upload them through the dedicated section of the MAM web module.

Tapeless_Reception_tab

• Person in charge: The operator who activates and tracks the tapeless reception process;
• Supplier: The external entity that uploads the video file;
• Scheduled Arrival: The expected deadline for the media file to be uploaded;

If no arrival date is indicated for specific customers only, the Tapeless creation date will be displayed.

Please note:

• An "expiry date" must be set for the season under the "Rights Management" tab to be available for reception.
• To be available for reception, no media file should be linked to the asset before uploading.
• Assets set to be received via Tapeless Reception will not be able to be recorded as they will be expected from an external agency.

WARNING: When uploading a media file via Tapeless, the user must be granted access rights to delete the existing file before uploading. Otherwise, the uploaded media file will be appended to the current media file.
