In broadcasting, an Airtime TopUp is an additional commercial space offered by a broadcasting station to a commercial agency, an "Airtime TopUp" is not billed since it is a supplementary space for an already existing commercial order.
Using TopUps
Etere Air Sales allows a complete management of 'TopUps' within commercial orders, the procedure to manage them are:
1.Link TopUps to a commercial order line
By accessing to the quick order line menu and selecting the 'TopUp | Link' option you will be able to add a certain amount of 'TopUps' to the current selected order line:
Allocated TopUp No. - The total number of TopUps added to the order line.
Scheduled TopUp No. - The number of TopUps added to the order line which are currently scheduled.
Reserved TopUp No. - The number of TopUps added to the order line which are currently booked (i.e. scheduled but not yet approved).
Remaining TopUp No. - The number of TopUps added to the order line which are currently available for use (i.e. Remaining=Allocated-Scheduled-Reserved).
No. of Topups to be added - Indicate here the number of TopUps to be added to the TopUps currently allocated for the order line, after which, press the [Save] button to store this information in the database.
2.Schedule & Assign assets to linked TopUps
In order to schedule 'TopUps' and subsequently assign them an existing asset you need to follow one of the two methods below:
a) By using the 'Show Scheduling' function, more specifically, using the chapter "assign topups" function available in the Scheduling Status form.
b) By using Strategic Editor:
- Open the Strategic Editor module,
- Make right click on the space on which you intend to schedule the 'TopUp' and select the 'search commercial orders' option,
- Enable the filtering by 'TopUp only' option and search for the commercial order which contains the 'TopUp',
- Double click on the selected order and the 'TopUp' will be inserted into the selected space as shown in the image below:
- At this point, to assign an asset to the 'TopUp', it is enough to make right click on it and select the 'assign assets' option or just press the 'F6' key.
