The information displayed in the first part is merely descriptive and shows previously assigned data:
•Code: the path of the resource that you are editing is displayed
•Type: shows the resource type
•Number: indicates the ordinal number that identifies that resource in case others of the same type coexist.
The user must enter the following information:
•Name: description of the resource you are editing.
•Driver: choose between PDELTA, PDELTAT, PDELTAI
- PDELTA - has a single Output on which various layers are superimposed. Currently, the driver supports four layers, but in theory, the layers can be up to 256 (depending on the quantity of cards which are installed on the machine)
The resource will create four layers, which must be activated for the users who plan to use them.
- PDELTAT - Has 2 Outputs with a common background (layer 1) and an extra layer, different for the two outputs (layer 2 for the main output and layer 3 for the secondary output)
The resource will create three layers, which must be activated for the users who plan to use them.
- PDELTAI - Use this driver for DELTA INDIGO.
•IP Address: type the IP address of the machine and its local port (default value: 5000)
•Configuration:
✓Logo generator configured as Indicate how you want the logo to be configured.
✓Indicate the associated DSK: Indicate if the DSK is internal (INSIDE) or if one of those in the resources (previously configured) must be associated.
(Warning: you need to configure DSKs first because only installed DSKs are displayed)
•Preset/Take Mode: Some devices can pre-load the logo before sending it ON AIR in such a way as to speed up the operation at the moment of the take. This possibility can be exploited using preset/take mode instead of standard mode. The preset/take mode is only suggested if a commutation is used for each event. Otherwise, the results could be unpredictable
•Asset No.Associated with the Layer
For the drivers PDELTA and PDELTAI, it is possible to set 2 forms for each Layer:
- a Form for script activation
- a Form for the setting of the user strings
Warning: The DELTA logo does not need any serial connection wire, as it is LAN-controlled.
NOTE:
- Both drivers work with a user string 0 for variable text
- driver PDELTA: the driver summons format clear0 to clean up layer 1 (layer 0 per Publitronic), format clear1 to clean up layer 2, etc. The user creates templates.
- driver PDELTAT: the driver summons format clear0 to clean up the background (layer1) and format clear23 to clean up the Layer of the main output (layer 2) and of the backup output (layer 3). The user creates templates.
- For both drivers, formats with names from 1 to 999 are summoned by selecting the logo of the corresponding number. The user conveniently creates the templates.
Etere controls the PUBLITRONIC DELTA logo generator via TCP/IP.
