202.10.4.7 Recalculate segment offsets within blocks

The Recalculate Segment Offsets within Blocks utility is a sensitive tool (*) that allows to view and also fix ALL BLOCKS present in the system database which have either a wrong offset sequence (i.e. the timings of their segments are not consecutive) or a block duration discrepancy (i.e. the block duration is different from the sum of their segments).

(*) Please note that this is a sensitive function since all blocks will be modified; for more information about blocks, segments and offsets, please refer to the Managing Blocks chapter.

Checking and fixing blocks
The two features mentioned before are available through a simple and user-friendly interface which includes the following functions:

Wrong offset
This function allows the detection and fixing of all blocks with a wrong offset sequence, all blocks for which the timings of their segments are not consecutive:
