84.2.2.3 Synchronized Playlist - Previous considerations

The very first step before using the "Synchronized playlists", consists on performing the tasks described in this chapter and which are required for the correct functioning:

Configure the "Synchronized Playlists"
The playlists to be synchronized can be enabled under the homonym tab present in the Schedule Parameters, which is accessible from the Etere Configuration > Settings > Executive Editor:

• The following stations have schedules linked between them: Enable this option to activate the "synchronized playlists" for the scheduling of events, select the stations for which scheduled events will be mirrored. Once the stations have been enabled, in Executive Editor module will become available the option "Synchronized playlists" in the Schedule menu and will be possible to insert the related button in EE's toolbar.
• For each change request a confirmation to apply it to other stations: Request a confirmation before applying changes to other stations. Once configured, Etere Scheduling needs to be restarted in order to load the new configuration.

Enable the stations to be synchronized
Make sure that assets intended to be managed in more than one station are properly enabled for all of them (otherwise replication won't be possible on destination schedules). It can be set either form the Etere Configuration | Settings | Types | Types for stations section, or more specifically, from each asset:

Copying schedules between synchronized stations
Optionally, in case the daily schedule has been already made up in the main station, remember that Etere permits to copy that schedule to the rest of linked stations, this by launching Etere Scheduling from a linked station, opening the Utilities module and selecting the 'Copy automation schedule' function (selected schedules will be copied keeping a univocal relationship for all scheduled assets across the two stations):
