The Omneon Player API is a tool that installs into your system all components required by Etere to communicate with Omneon devices.
Components-omplrlib.dll
Description: The library contains the API functions provided by Omneon to control the device and request status information (e.g., media names).
Uses: Omneon VS
Uses: Omneon MediaDeck
Components- ommedia.dll
Description: The Media API library that accesses special media features (e.g. file copy) available on Omneon devices.
Uses: Etere OmExec
To install the above-mentioned components, just launch the "OmneonPlayerAPI.msi" setup included on your Etere installation DVD; all required components will be automatically placed into your Etere's installation folder (e.g. c:\programs files (x86)\etere\).
Once installed, it will be needed to register the components through the following commands:
regsvr32 "c:\Program Files (x86)\ETERE\ommedia.dll"
regsvr32 "c:\Program Files (x86)\ETERE\omplrlib.dll"
