The information displayed in the first part is merely descriptive and shows previously assigned data:
•Code: Shows the path for the resource being edited.
•Type: Shows the resource's type.
•Number: shows the number identifying the resource in case others of the same type are present.
The user must define the following information:
•Name: Description of the resource being edited.
•Driver: CDMK2IP (commanded via IP)
If the device is commanded via IP, it is necessary to indicate
•IP Address
•Local Port (by default 10000)
•Configuration
✓Logo generator configured as Indicate how the logo must be configured (default set is blank)
✓Enter the connected DSK: set if the DSK is INSIDE or must be connected to a previously configured resource.
(Warning: only activated DSK are shown, so it is necessary to configure the DSK first)
•Preset/Take Mode: Some devices can preset the logo before putting it on air to speed up the operation at the moment of the take. It is possible to use this feature by setting the device in preset/take mode instead of standard mode. The preset/take mode is only advised in the case of commutation in each event; otherwise, the results could be unpredictable. (set this parameter as default)
Further information
Given that it requires the complete transition of the path of the files to be put on air and the automation only sends numeric logos, a mapping file will be created to be placed in the automation directory that maps the number of the logo with a file (attached is the example for the logo 101).
The file must be called Kappa2map.ini.
[example]
101=C:\Documents and Settings\user.Etere\My Documents\Kappa2map.ini
