Using the Block Editor

202.6.4.2 Block instances

All blocks presented in the Blocks list are assigned with a unique ID for identification across all the daily schedules; Blocks can be inserted only once per day, each time a block is reinsert into the same day schedule it would create a new identical block with a different unique ID.
Summarizing, according to what previously stated and as shown in the figure above, block instances can be differentiated within a certain day according to their position:

•Parent block: The first inserted instance of a block within a day. Parent blocks features the same data (and ID) of the source block.

•Child block: All instances reinserted within a day. Child blocks features the same data of the source block but with a different unique ID (based on the main block's ID).

For example, the previous figure clearly illustrated the instances of one parent block (490) and two child blocks (491 and 492).

Replacing blocks
In case the operator decides to replace a block which is featured in different times within a same day, it would be necessary to specify its ID in order to perform a precise and correct replacement.
For example, if a parent block (ID = 490) has been inserted twice on March 22nd (e.g. at 06:00:00 and 13:00:00), the ID assigned to each child block would be 490 and 491respectively; in the same way, if the parent block is inserted three times on March 23rd (e.g. at 06:00:00, 09:00:00 and 12:00:00), the respective IDs for the child blocks will be 490, 491 and 492. In this instance, if the operator intends to change the block which is featured at the 09:00:00, the ID to be specified should be 491.

Removing blocks
When removing blocks from a date frame, all instances (i.e. block with the same ID) of the selected blocks will be removed from the period.
