The "Edit Resource" form allows one to define the more general characteristics of the Playbox video server resource. The fields required for its configuration are as described:

READ-ONLY INFO
Code - The path of the resource that you are editing is displayed.
Type - Shows the type of resource it belongs to (e.g. PLBX).
Number - Ordinal number that differentiates the resource from others of the same type.
Driver - This information is not displayed, but it's worth mentioning that there's only one driver for Playbox devices: Etere's PLAYBOX driver.

RESOURCE PROPERTIES
Name - A brief description that identifies the resource must be inserted.
E19 Resource ID - Optionally, insert the ID of the resource created under the Resource Editor module for this resource. This identification number is used, for example, to check the storage space usage of the resource.

Type - Shows the resource type.
Number - Ordinal number that differentiates the resource from others of the same type.
Driver - PLAYBOX (Fixed).

CHANNEL INFORMATION
Name - Brief description identifying the edited resource (in this case, a "CH-number" channel suffix is added).
Driver - PLAYBOX (Fixed).
Codec - Indicate the codec with which video is managed by the device channel (default=PLBX).
E19 Resource ID - Optionally, insert the ID of the resource channel created under the Resource Editor module for this resource.

E/E - Set the E\E for single channels. This is useful for those systems which don't provide an automatic E\E. It allows the simulation of an E/E via software with a connected router during ingest, which displays on the monitor the source output (VTR) during REC and the video server's output during PLAY.
Proxy Form - Do not indicate anything.
