The information displayed in the first section is only descriptive and has been previously assigned. Fields automatically updated when the resource is added are:
•Code: The path of the resource that you are editing is displayed
•Type: Shows the resource type
•Number: Indicates the ordinal number that identifies that resource in case others of the same type coexist.
Other fields to be filled in by the user are:
•Name: Enter a description that identifies the resource (for example. V1Ingest, V1On air)
•Driver: Fixed: SVSMANZA. (the driver EtereSW is not used anymore, and it's been kept for compatibility)
•Model: Select a model from the available ones. If the model is unavailable, select the GENERIC one and indicate (if necessary) a number of inputs and outputs.
•Channel's number: Insert the number of the router's inputs and outputs.
•Video router switch levels: On some video routers, it is possible to define the switch levels (audio only, audio and video, video only, serial, Time Code, ecc..) if the video router allows you to set them. With Etere, there are 3 types of switches: AUDIO/VIDEO, SERIAL, and TIMECODE, and for each switch, it is possible to set the levels to activate.
Note:
If the video router has more than 1 level and less than 8 levels (ex. 3) and a switch must be performed on all levels, it's better to set all 8 levels (even if there are only 5 levels, for instance). A special command is used in this case, allowing you to switch all levels simultaneously.

Manzanita Resource Editor - User
After indicating which user and which software the resource has to be installed for, you have to set other data:
Com Port Setting:
The video router can be controlled directly through a serial connection (in this case, you have to set the com number) or through UDP with the ETERESARVAJI software (in this case, you have to indicate the IP address of the PC that EtereSarvaji runs on and the Local Port which EtereSarvaji uses).
Com Configuration:
The Baudrate can only be set (default value 9600); other parameters are fixed.
Baud: 9600
Parity: None
Stop bits: 1
Data bits: 8
Backup Router
If you wish to manage another router as the Backup router, activate this option, insert com data, or leave the option blank.
The backup router must be completely THE SAME as the main one.
Rights
The video router must always be set as Master; configure it as Slave only if it's part of an Open Master Control.
