59.8.2.3 Configure the cleanup workflows

A T-workflow must be designed for deleting files on a given meta device related to the resource's volume(s) configured to be cleaned.

Workflows can be freely designed to delete files based on any criteria; common workflow actions include:

Cleanup_Workflow

▪ Check if the asset is scheduled
▪ FileExists
▪ Set current metafile
▪ FileDelete/Datamover Delete/Media manager service file delete

It's a common practice to design a specific workflow for each device to be cleaned. In this way, the workflow execution would be faster.
