What is Etere HiRes Transcoder?
In current days, where video content is mainly captured in one format, edited in another, transmitted in a third, delivered on-demand via web and mobile in half a dozen more and then finally archived in yet another, Etere provides a fast, cost-effective and seamlessly integrated core transcoding technology, Etere HiRes Transcoder.

As shown in the figure above, the HiRes Transcoder process allows transcoding media files easily and based on specific parameters (i.e. source path, input file, destination path, output file) and custom compression profiles.  
How to use Etere HiRes Transcoder?
To create an Etere HiRes Transcoder action, just set the vftnew_rhozet_rename_cod_progra.bat batch file (which can be changed to meet individual requirements)  under the 'Batch file to use for transcoding' field present in the 'Process settings' tab.
Please notice that the Etere HiRes Transcoder process is launched, as all DataMover actions, by Etere Data Mover, which must run in the same workstation where Rhozet Carbon Coder (i.e. the OEM back-end transcoding service used for transcoding media content).
