59.6.2.24 UMD-8T resource editor

The information displayed in the first part is merely descriptive and shows previously assigned data:
•Code: The path of the resource that you are editing is displayed
•Type: Shows the resource type
•Number: Indicates the ordinal number that identifies that resource in case others of the same type coexist.

The user must enter the following information:
•Name: Description of the resource you are editing.
•Driver: SETEL
•Countdown display: Indicate the type of countdown which should be displayed. Five different displays are available:
✓From an On-air video file: displays the countdown of the event currently On-air.
✓To the next live broadcasting: displays the countdown to the next live event.
✓Song intro: displays the intro countdown of the song On-air.
✓Live: displays the countdown of the event currently On-air.
✓Device status: displays the countdown of an external device (f.e. a VTR)
✓Live Scheduled:

Based on the scheduled time, the following non-live event shows the countdown to the next non-live event based on the expected time.

The next non-live event, based on the real-time: it shows the countdown to the next non-live event, based on real-time.

NOTICE: you must also indicate the internal address of the display (number between 1 and 255)

After indicating which user and which software the resource has to be installed for, you have to set other data:

Com port setting:
The DISPLAY can be controlled directly through a serial connection (in this case, you have to set the com number) or through UDP with the ETERESARVAJI software (in this case, you have to indicate the IP address of the PC that EtereSarvaji runs on and the Local Port EtereSarvaji uses.

•Device (out)- Indicate the no. of the device to be installed when you open the resource.(-1=not installed)
•Controller (in)- Indicate the no. of the controller to be installed when you open the resource.(-1=not installed)
(Only in the special case where you have a centralized video router which allows you also to commute serial ports, set the data referred to above to 422)
