This form allows for defining the WMV video server's general features. Some fields are automatically updated when the resource is defined:
•Code: Shows the path for the edited resource.
•Type: Shows the resource type.
•Number: Shows the number used for the resource identification if there are other resources of the same kind.
The user must fill in some other fields:
•Name: A description identifying the resource.
•Number of available channels: Insert the channels available in the input and output resource. Afterwards, it will be possible to modify this number according to your needs: increase the number of channels by augmenting them or delete the channels one by one through the general form Edit Resources – Delete Resources button to decrease them.
•Characteristics:
✓Preroll time – Set the time necessary for the videoserver to preroll. Value expressed in milliseconds (set 0 by default).
✓Skip time – Set the time necessary for the videoserver to skip from one video file to another during the on-air. Value expressed in milliseconds (set 0 by default).
✓CueRec time – Set the time necessary for the videoserver to CueRec. Value expressed in milliseconds (set 0 by default).
✓IP address - IP address of the PC where the board is installed.
✓Remote Port - Insert the Seachange node Remote Port (default=3000).
Click "Confirm" to add the WMV resource with the indicated number of channels to the resource tree.
After which, it will be necessary to configure the channels. This operation can be done by selecting the channel and clicking "Modify Resource".
