202.6.4.12 Change block structure

The change block structure function, available in the scheduling grid toolbar, allows to easily change the structure of a certain block. In order to change the structure of a block, launch the "change block structure" function and follow the procedures described below:

1.Set the change period
Select the date range (and day within a week) to which performed changes will be applied, and all block appearances within the selected date range will be changed, press [OK] key to proceed:

2.Set the segments to be swapped                      This function allows swapping events already inserted in the segments.  The windows are divided into 3 sections:

•Available Time Blocks: The list containing all blocks currently available for the change.

•Source structure: Contain list of events presented in the block to be selected for change.

•Destination structure: Contain list of events presented in the block to be used for swapping.

To swap the blocks, simply highlight the block, right click and select option “Add to the destination structure” to swap with another block.
Specify the relationships on which the swap will be based (see figure above), keep in mind that all source segments must be related to a destination segment in order to proceed.

3.Launch the change
Once all  source segments have been related to destination segments, press the [Save] button to launch the change operation. User would be prompt for confirmation since those events unable to be placed in the changed block will be deleted.
Once the change process completed, a report containing the details of all the changes performed would be generated.
