Making right-click on a certain order line (i.e. its related scheduling operation), the following functions will be available:
Scheduling
This option will provide the following features directly related to the programming of the selected order line:
•Start (F4): Send the scheduling request directly to the Air Sales Booking Server, which will automatically schedule the selected order line(s) based on the parameters stipulated in the order.
•Modify and Start (F12): Open a small window that allows modifying the order line's scheduling parameters (i.e. period, days, time, runs number, blocks, etc.) to schedule it differently as stipulated in the order.
See the Orders Scheduling chapter for information on how to use this tool.
NB: Please note that in case the "blacklist management" is enabled, each time a "manual start" is performed, all events remaining unscheduled will be placed on the blacklist.
• Reschedule: This function, available only for already scheduled orders, allows to delete all events (both planned and blacklisted) present in future schedules (i.e. from the next television day onwards), thus converting the involved line(s) from 'already scheduled' to 'to be scheduled'. This feature is helpful in re-launching the scheduling of a certain order line based on the current contractual criteria (i.e. times, durations, etc).
•Show/ Modify Scheduling (F11): Use it to view and modify (i.e. manually book) the spaces on which the order line has been scheduled; it is also possible to preview assets, open schedules, assign top-ups and more.
For detailed information on how to use this function, please refer to the View Scheduling chapter.
•Reset Scheduling status (F7): It resets the scheduling status of the selected order line(s) only if their scheduling is currently in progress; these orders will be unlocked and ready to be rescheduled.
NB: Detailed information on how to schedule an order line using Air Sales Scheduler can be found in the How to prepare order lines chapter.
View batch operations log.
It displays all scheduling operations started for the selected order line. Moreover, by making a right-click on a particular operation, it will be possible to:
- Show a detailed "extended scheduling report" of the operation
- Delete the operation and undo all its related scheduling actions
- Delete all operations and undo all the related scheduling actions
- Print (or just preview) a report containing the performed scheduling
Other functions
Moreover, the following functions will be available from the menu:
•Show last scheduling report (F10): The "extended scheduling report" of the last scheduling operation performed for the selected line.
•View event log: It displays a small "Event Log" window detailing all the operations performed for the asset(s) linked to the selected order line, indicating the date, user and application that was performed, as well as the operation type (e.g. assets assignment, booking insertion, blacklist deposit, event deletion, etc.).
•Delete all batch operations: Use it to cancel all the scheduling operations performed for the selected order line(s). Alternatively to this function, it is possible to use the 'view the batch operations log' and choose to delete only some specific batches.
This function is useful to completely remove all previously performed scheduling operations (e.g. in case they are considered incorrect or have been launched by mistake).
Important Note:
This function would also delete events scheduled in the past, including those deleted events in the Black List and White List. You would need to respond appropriately to the warning message below for the deletion to occur.
•Show order (CTRL-C): It displays the order from which the scheduled line derives, allowing it to modify any order line data.
•View startup problems information: It allows the operator to see the details of all problems that have blocked the start of the scheduling operation (e.g. incorrect segments association).
•Refresh (F5): It simply updates the scheduling operations list (e.g. removing already scheduled order lines).
•Hide from the scheduler/ Show in the scheduler: Use it to set the selected order line(s) to be displayed or not in the Air Sales Scheduler's list. Please note that hidden order lines can be viewed by enabling the 'show hidden order lines' in the filters section.
•Select (CTRL-A) / Unselect all (CTRL-U): Use it to select or deselect all scheduling order lines in the list.
