The Channel Station section (named according to the current active station) allows operators to dictate how scheduled events will be treated inside the Executive Editor module:

Lock Management

• The schedule can be modified by more operators at the same time: Enable this option to allow multiple users from different user groups to access the schedule simultaneously.

The schedule can be modified only by one operator at the time: If enabled, the editing of broadcast schedules will be available for one user at a time, therefore users will receive a warning message indicating that the schedule is locked and that will be opened in read-only mode. Moreover, in the space right below this section, can be specified some exceptions: PCs where schedules are allowed to be opened even if locked by another user.

The schedule can be modified only by one operator for each department: When there are multiple users from different user groups working on the same schedule, by enabling this option, only one user from the respective group can access the schedule at one time.

Others

View the difference between actual time and scheduled time: View the difference between real-time and scheduled times of the events programmed in the schedule. Next to the time indicated, a symbol will highlight if the real-time is greater (+) or less (-) than the scheduled time. It is also possible to show the displacement time between the two. No displacement would be displayed below the specified value.

• Report break out of time slot: If a scheduled break falls outside the time slot, the icon indicated in this parameter appears.  A break is considered outside the time slot when the scheduled time and real-time have different HH.

Point out differences between break's scheduled time and actual time: If a scheduled break has real-time differing from the scheduled time by the value indicated here, the icon '+' or '-' appears relative to greater or less than the scheduled time in the break line.

Insert the jingle in the break: Insert Start Jingles inside the commercial break every time a schedule is published. Select jingles to be used from the asset's repository.
Note: Jingle type must have the property "Group in cluster" (Configuration > Settings > Types), and commercials must also be grouped in a cluster.

Save with overlaps that do not conflict with the sort list: Save the scheduling even if it contains overlaps. This can only be done if the overlap's starting time is greater than the preceding event.

• Run update duration also for Live events: The F4 (update duration) and F6 (update duration and secondary events) function keys will be allowed to update live events included in a multi-selection.
If disabled, the functions keys won't affect live events included in a multi-selection.
Note: This parameter affects only live events included in multi-selection; single selected live events can always be updated through the F4 and F6 functions.

The Explode function extends the selected event's properties to its exploded segments: If enabled, each time an event is exploded in the EE schedule (either using the F8: all breakpoints or the F2: all hypothetical segments), the properties (i.e. titler, crawl, logo, etc.) of the exploded segments will be modified according to the exploded event properties (i.e. logos will be copied to all the exploded parts featuring the same duration, offset and page number; additionally, logos which are not present in the asset form will be removed); if disabled, the properties of the exploded segments won't be modified.

• Enable F4 and F6 on exploded events: Enable "Update duration" and "Update duration and Secondary events" on exploded events. This option is enabled by default.

When launching "Update duration and secondary events", also perform "All breakpoints" for exploded events: As the name says, when this option is enabled it's possible to also explode all breakpoints (F8) when performing Update duration and secondary events.
Note: This parameter regards exploded events, including single and multiple events.

• Generate the media automatically for the streaming events: If enabled, automatically assign media to a streaming event, thus allowing to publish events before being recorded.

• Delete the event on air: By default the event onair can never be deleted from the schedule, unless this option is enabled.

Display the colour of the event on-air in the whole line: If enabled, the entire line related to a scheduled event will be coloured according to the event's type. If disabled, it will have the same colour as the background.

• Show a warning if the duration of AD Insertions differs by at least: If two (or more) Ad Insertion clusters corresponding to the same scheduled time have durations that differ between them in more than the gap tolerance specified here, a warning will be displayed in the Executive Editor.
By default, this parameter is set to 00:00:00,00; the difference between durations is not tolerated.

• Proxy with Logos: This parameter allows previewing ETX graphic objects in Windows 10 and viewing the H264 (MP4) file.  With the Preview Codec Priority option, you can view and change the codec priority to select proxy or High-Resolution files.
