The contextual functions provided by the Multichannel Grid can be accessed by right-clicking on a scheduled event; a popup menu contains the following functions:

Function - Copy  [Ctrl + C]
Description: Copy an event before duplicating it into a different schedule position. This can also be done using simple drag and drop.

Function - Cut  [Ctrl + X]
Description: Cut an event before moving it to another position on the schedule. This can also be done using simple drag and drop.

Function - Paste [Ctrl + V]
Description: Paste the previously copied/cut event into the current schedule position.

Function - Filter rows in the day
Description: Provides the following filtering options:

Text [F3] - Use it to filter all playlists and display only events whose description matches the entered text or highlight the event matching the entered text.

Status icon [Ctrl+F3] - Filter all playlists and display only those events whose status matches the selected ones (e.g. unconfirmed, transmitted with errors, not in video server, etc).

Function - Add an empty line.
Description: If the selected line is occupied, this function inserts a new line to the playlist (e.g. to schedule a new event.)

Function - Delete empty line
Description: If the selected line doesn't contain events, this function removes it from the playlist.

Function - Update segment content
Description: Queries the database to refresh and update the content of the selected segment.

Function - Insert event
Description: Insert commercial, non-commercial and licensed events.

Function - Delete event [DEL]
Description: Removes the selected event from the playlist.

Function - Set event data
Description: Allows setting the following information related to the selected event:

Set event scheduled time (Ctrl + H) - Allows for changing the expected scheduled time the event will be transmitted; for example, in cases where the selected time exceeds the duration of the current segment, the user will be prompted for a confirmation.

Furthermore, setting the 'assign fixed event property' flag will protect the event from future changes (e.g., events scheduled before/after it).

Set operator notes (Ctrl + J) - Allow the operator to add notes to the event. Inserted notes will be visible in the list of events when this option is selected from 'Options' or the toolbar.

The "apply to all event segments" flag will allow the operator to extend the entered notes to all the event segments (in case it explodes in the schedule). Note that every time an event is exploded, its notes are extended to all exploded segments.

Set event scheduled duration (Ctrl + G) - Allows for changing the scheduled duration of the selected event. If the selected duration exceeds the current segment's, the user will be prompted for a confirmation. Once the new duration is set, save changes by pressing the "Apply" button or the [Enter] key.

Change the live channel - If the current event is "live", you can select the channel from which its feed signal will be received.

Set event type - This option allows you to change the event type to 'Fixed' (Ctrl-F), 'Manual' (Ctrl-M), 'Fixed/manual' (Ctrl-G), 'Variable' (Ctrl-L), 'Variable/manual' (Ctrl-N), or 'Timecode' (Ctrl-T) as by default.

Convert in Reservation - If an event has been confirmed, this option allows converting the event into a reservation event and setting an expiry date.

Modify priority - Select this option to modify the priority of the scheduled event. The lower the number (1-1000), the higher the priority.

Change into filler - Change the selected event into fillers. The filler can be managed under the Fill Segment tool, which enables filling segments using fillers.

Function - Asset management
Description: Use this function to perform the following actions related to the asset linked to the selected order:

Assign asset - Search the entire assets repository for the asset to be assigned to the selected order line.

Add a link to an asset - Select an asset from the "assets already linked to all orders" list and assign it to the selected order line.

Remove association - Deletes the association between the selected order line and its currently assigned asset.

Remove asset - Delete the asset from the asset list.

Update duration, media and properties - Update the selected event with the media data (file, SOM, EOM, duration) and secondary data (e.g. Logo, CG, GPI, Transition, etc) retrieved from the media library.

Replace asset across schedules - Replace existing asset with a new asset across all schedules.

Media Library - Access the media library to view or modify assets linked to the event.
