How to

84.12.12 Group events as one EPG Program

The Executive Editor allows grouping multiple events as one program through the insertion of an EPGI event and an EPGO event before and after the group respectively, in this way all events in between them will be considered as one program:

00:29:14

As shown above, each grouped program must have a specific EPGI event since its description is extracted from it whereas the duration is calculated as the sum of all grouped durations.
Grouping events for EPG display purposes is useful, for example, for exporting schedules from the following Import/Export modules:
Functions that export EPG data:
EPG TXT
EPG-XML-3
EPG-XML-LA7
SKY EPG TXT
SKY EPG XML

NB: It's worth mentioning that EPGI and EPGO events are based on EPGI and EPGO types defined in Configuration > Settings > Types.
