This form allows you to define the general characteristics of the SGI server.
Fields automatically updated when the resource is added are:
•Code: The path of the resource that you are editing is displayed
•Type: Shows the resource type
•Number: Indicates the ordinal number that identifies that resource in case others of the same type coexist.
The user must fill in other fields:
•Name: This field is used to write a description of the resource
•N. of channels: Write the number of channels available on the SGI resource. Channels must be either input or output channels. It's always possible to modify the number of channels depending on the needs. To add channels, just raise the number of N. of channels. To delete channels, it is necessary to delete them from the RESOURCE EDIT form by clicking on the Delete resource button
Settings
•Preroll time - Indicate the time, in mmsec., that the videoserver needs to perform the preroll (default value is 0)
•Skip time - Indicate the time, in mmsec., that the videoserver needs to perform a skip during onair (default value is 0)
•CueRec time - Indicate the time, in mmsec, that the videoserver needs to perform a CueRec. (default value is 0)
The SGI resource is added to the resource tree with the number of added channels by clicking on the Confirm button.
Channels must be configured afterwards. This operation is performed by highlighting the channel and clicking the Modify Resource button.
