59.8.2.6 Enable the device cleanup

Open the Monitoring Console and enable the "execute devices cleanup from this console" option under the "Tools > Device Space Cleanup > Settings" tab:

When the Monitoring Console is launched, the cleanup will run in the current machine; the user must be granted appropriate rights to perform this function.

The Monitoring Console must remain Running/Active to monitor and clean up storage.

NB: In case of multiple instances (e.g. on different servers) of the Monitoring Console running in the same network, only the first started console enabled for "device space cleanup" will monitor and clean up storage.
