This form allows the defining of general features of the resource.
The information displayed in the first part is merely descriptive and shows previously assigned data:
•Code: the path of the resource that you are editing is displayed
•Type: shows the resource type
•Number: indicates the ordinal number that identifies that resource in case others of the same type coexist.
The user must enter the following information:
•Name: in this field, insert a description identifying the resource.
•N. of Channels: insert several channels on the Videoserver. Channels must be Input and Output ones. It is always possible to change the number of channels according to necessities. To increase them, it is sufficient to raise the N. of present Channels; to diminish them, it is necessary to delete them one by one from the general form EDIT RESOURCES with essential Delete resources.
•Features:
✓Preroll Time - Display in mmsec. the time that the videoserver takes to perform the preroll (by default indicate 0)
✓Skip Time - Display in mmsec. During the broadcasting, the time the videoserver takes to skip between one video file and another (show 0 as default).
✓CueRec Time - Display in mmsec. The time that the videoserver takes to perform the CueRec.(show 0 as default).
Pressing the key Confirm will add an OMNEON resource with the number of indicated channels to the resource tree.
It will be necessary to configure the Channels afterwards. This operation will be performed after placing it on the channel and by pressing Modify Resource.

NB: The Native protocol has improved over time, so the legacy product will not support all the Native commands that have been added since they were discontinued. For example, commands relating specifically to HD content will not be supported in the legacy VR products as they do not support HD content.
