52.3 Ad Insertion ETX Playlist Management

Depending on the Etere Ad Insertion Mode, the playlist management is explained in detail below:

In Stand-Alone or Automation Mode, Etere Executive Editor would change its configuration and structure to manage the Commercial Reels across the playlist effectively.

In Stand-Alone mode, Etere Executive Editor would accept Commercial Breaks only.

Any other program aired in PASSTHROUGH would not be shown inside the playlist. They would be replaced by a placeholder which is also known as SEPARATOR.

On the other hand, in Automation Mode, the playlist would split into multiple sections, as many SPLITs as present in the system. The Executive Editor will provide multiple sections to schedule the Commercial Reels to air in different Regions.
