Etere HSM can be configured to store the files in separate tapes according to the type of asset. In order to create Media Pools (groups of tapes to which the same management properties), just go to the Etere Configuration | Settings | Basic | Media Pools section and in the Types Configuration set a specific Media Pool to archive all the assets of this type.
This feature will allow you to have a group of tapes that contain the copy of commercials, while another is the copy of news and so on. Contents can be archived in Media Pools either manually or automatically, being also possible to include them in the maintenance tasks of Etere HSM.
