Action Description
The "Set type" action allows one to set/change the type (e.g. season) of an asset into a new type (e.g. movie). Please note that this action can be used with an " asset custom log" to record the source change in the asset's operations log.
NB: It's worth mentioning that the type set to the processing asset will also be charged for all its related versions.
Action Parameters
Under this section, it is possible to create new actions based on the following parameters:
•Name: Give a brief and self-descriptive name to the action (e.g. Set asset as a movie).
•Type: Select the new type to be assigned to the asset.
How to use it
The T-Workflow designer can include "Set type" actions, for example, in censorship workflows to set a new type in case an asset successfully passes its censorship.
