51.1.3.3 Sync files in Avid

The "Sync files in AVID" tab allows configuring the parameters (resource) ActiveSync requires to communicate with an Avid Interplay Web Service to synchronize in the Etere database the master clips and sequences found in AVID workgroups.

Etere ActiveSync can insert and update into the Etere database all files detected on a particular directory; if said Avid Interplay uses a directory to export asset files (e.g. encoded to Avid DNxHD codec and wrapped in MXF or MOV), it will be required to configure and enable the automatic synchronization of assets metadata (i.e. duration) through an Avid Interplay Web Service.
