59.2.33.4 Media Info Codec Mapping

The "Media Info Codec Mapping" allows you to define general media information about the selected codecs.  The stored information would be used to compare and find the matching codec.

The "Media Info Codec Mapping" can extract codec information that File Info could not achieve.  For example, media files scanned with File Info using Matrox card could not correctly detect the codec or the first time code frame due to conversion; Media Info Codec Mapping correctly detected that information.

Unknown Codecs
"Unknown" codecs are defined in the list, as indicated below. The "Unknown" codecs are created during the first Etere Installation to cater to the minimum operations of Etere application modules.

When the video standard does not match the codec in media info, select the appropriate "unknown" codec from the list for mapping.
