Since the Media Library comprises a big part of the assets properties and functions, it has been made available (thanks to Etere's distributed architecture) to other Etere modules, thus making it possible to search, view, edit and use assets.
Each time the Media Library is launched, it is displayed focused on the search tab, allowing operators to instantly search certain assets matching specific parameters; assets matched the search criteria are retrieved, the following options will help to select the exact assets to be used:
Click - It simply selects one assets.
Ctrl+A - It selects all retrieved assets displayed in the current page.
Ins+click - Use it to select the sequential assets between a certain assets.
Ctrl+click - Use it to freely select non-sequential assets.
Double click (or drag&drop) - By either making double-click on the selected asset(s) or using the drag&drop function (e.g. from the search results to an on-air playlist), it will be possible to use the selected asset(s) in different ways depending on the module from which the search has been performed:
•from Etere Ingest: The selected asset(s) will be selected to be recorded.
•from Etere Scheduling: The selected asset(s) will be inserted in the playlists.
•from Etere Air Sales: The selected asset(s) will be assigned to commercial contracts.
•etc.
