The "Library Refresh Utility" is a periodically executed function that allow keeping library tapes continuously updated to avoid last minute read/write problems. This check is performed by temporally restoring -with a temporary name- media content stored on tape in the HSM cache, starting by the tape with the older read/write date.

Parameter - Tape not used for over "n" days
Description : Specify the time after which a tape is considered "old", that is, a time interval within which no archive, restore, recatalogue, free, defrag or mount operations have been performed for it.
NB: Etere HSM will use tape drives to perform this maintenance operation only during the maintenance time, it will check -based on the scheduling parameters- one tape at time until the maintenance time ends.
