Resource Configuration

59.6.2.87 SGI resource editor - Channel

From this section, it is possible to configure every single Doremi channel
The first section contains descriptions of:
•Code: Shows the path of the resource that's being edited
•Type: Shows the type of resource
•Number: Indicates the number of the resource to distinguish it from other resources of the same type
•Name: It's the description of the resource that's being edited (in this case, CH is added before the channel number)
The second section is used to set the connection mode and channel use:
•Driver:
Fixed SGIL to control the channel through the serial port
•Channels
✓Video In: Put the channel input n. to use, considering the count starts from n.1 (0=not used). The input channel is used to ingest into the videoserver
✓Video Out: Put the channel output n. to use, considering the count starts from n.1 (0=not used). The output channel plays the video file ingested into the videoserver.

Usually, set the video input and output channels for ingest, only the output channels for playout.
•E/E
E/E It is possible to set E/E for each single channel. This setting is used for systems with an automatic E/E. It allows you, during ingestion, to simulate a software E/E if a video router is connected. During ingestion, send the source output on the monitor, and during playout, put the videoserver output on the monitor.
•Proxy Board
If a proxy board is connected to the channel, set the PC's IP address where the board is installed.
The local port should be between 6501 and 6509
Leave this field blank if there is no proxy board or it is not connected to the channel.
