59.2.28.1 Classes

A "class" is a set of asset types used to filter assets quickly. The Classes section allows defining the classes through the following areas:

Classes: The left panel allows adding or removing the custom classes to be managed.   
Types: The right panel allows adding and removing the asset types that compose the selected class.

Classes are used, for example, by the Verify Schedule tool to allow filtering of the asset types (e.g. spots and trailers) for which verification will be performed. If no classes are selected for schedule verification, all classes and asset types will be verified.
