Censoring video

99.3.14 Subtitles

The Subtitles function allows operators to view and manage subtitle content associated with the delayed media during the censorship workflow.

CENSOR EX provides visibility of the inserted subtitles directly within the editing environment, allowing operators to verify their synchronization with the video content and make adjustments when required.

Subtitle Management

Subtitles are displayed in the application and can be reviewed during the editing process.

Operators can:

• View the subtitle content associated with the video.

• Check the synchronization between subtitles and the related video segment.

• Modify subtitle information when required.

Each subtitle element is managed through three main components:

• Subtitle Start: Defines when the subtitle appears.

• Subtitle Content: Contains the text displayed to the viewer.

• Subtitle End: Defines when the subtitle disappears.

By reviewing and adjusting these elements, operators can ensure that subtitles remain correctly aligned with the final censored output.

Any subtitle modifications are reflected in the editing workflow and can be verified directly through the CENSOR EX interface before the content reaches the on-air output.
