the Mute Audio function allows operators to remove the audio output from a selected section of the delayed content while keeping the video unchanged.
This operation is useful when the audio content must be silenced temporarily during a live broadcast without affecting the associated video.
To mute an audio segment:
1. Position the Editor at the beginning of the section where the audio should be removed.
2. Set the required Mark In and Mark Out positions.
3. Execute the Mute Audio command.
The audio within the selected area is muted, while the video continues to play normally.
A marker is automatically added to the Timeline, allowing operators to identify where the mute operation has been applied and review the edit if required.
The operation can be previewed before the content reaches the on-air output, ensuring that the correct section has been modified.
