The Export Clip function allows operators to export a selected portion of the delayed content directly from the Timeline.
This feature can be used to save relevant video segments for external use, further analysis, archiving, or other operational requirements.
Exporting a Clip
To export a clip:
1. Position the Editor on the required section of the Timeline.
2. Set the required Mark In and Mark Out points to define the portion to be exported.
3. Open the export function and select Export Clip.
4. Enter the name of the file to be exported.
5. Click Export Clip to start the export process.
The selected content is then added to the export queue and processed by the system.
Monitoring the Export Process
The export progress can be monitored through the export window, which provides the following information:
• Status: Displays the current state of the export process: Playing, Pause and Stop
• Current Job: Displays the identifier assigned to the active export task.
• Total Items: Shows the total number of items included in the export queue.
• Items to Process: Displays the number of remaining items to be processed.
• Progress Bar: Shows the completion percentage of the current export operation.
The exported file location can be accessed using the Folder Clip button available next to the clip name field.
Export Management Menu
The export management menu provides additional controls for handling export tasks.
Available functions include:
• Play Export File: Starts playback of the exported file.
• Terminate Export Process: Stops the active export process and removes it from the job queue.
• Pause Export Process: Temporarily pauses the export operation.
• Remove Completed Items: Removes completed items from the export list.
• Remove All Items and Stop Processes: Stops all active export processes and clears the export list.
• Refresh: Updates the export list and refreshes the current status.
• Create New Playlist: Creates a new playlist for exported content management.
Export Limitations
When exporting content, only one file can be processed at a time.
The export queue management tools allow operators to monitor, control, and organize export operations efficiently during live censorship workflows.
