CENSOR EX operates on delayed media managed by the Live Censorship Service. By default, the system is configured with a 10-minute time delay, although this value can be customized according to operational requirements.
All censorship operations are performed within the available delay buffer before the content reaches the on-air output.
The current delay can be monitored through the Buffer Status indicator located at the top of the Editor panel.
The displayed value represents the effective delay available for editing. Since some operations (such as video deletions) reduce the overall duration of the delayed content, the actual buffer may become shorter than the configured delay.
For example, if the configured delay is 10 minutes and a total of 26 seconds has been removed through editing operations, the Buffer Status will display a remaining delay of 9 minutes and 34 seconds.
Monitoring the available buffer is essential during live operations to ensure that sufficient time remains to review and apply censorship edits before the content is transmitted on-air.
