Cut to Black (Stop On-Air Signal)
The Cut to Black function allows operators to immediately replace the video output currently being transmitted on-air with a black screen.
When activated, the video signal is hidden and the audio output is muted at the same time. This function is intended for emergency situations where the on-air content must be interrupted immediately.
Warning → This operation affects the content currently being broadcast on-air. Use this function carefully, as the action is applied instantly to the live output.
Applying Cut to Black
To activate the black output:
1. Open the On-Air section.
2. Click the Black button.
3. The video output is immediately replaced with a black screen.
4. The audio output is muted.
5. The button changes color to indicate that the function is active.
Restoring the On-Air Signal
To restore the normal output:
1. Click the Black button again.
2. The original video and audio output are immediately restored.
3. The button returns to its normal state, indicating that the function is no longer active.
The Cut to Black function provides operators with an immediate emergency control to stop the transmission of unwanted visual and audio content.
