99.1 Etere CensorEx Components

System Components

CENSOR EX is composed of three background Windows services and one desktop application. Each component has a specific role within the censorship workflow and must be correctly configured for the system to operate.

Etere Censor EX Time Delay Service

The Etere Censor EX Time Delay service is responsible for creating the time delay buffer. It receives the incoming live signal, records it, and generates the media files required by the other CENSOR EX components.

These files are continuously produced and stored, providing the delayed content that will later be processed and edited before transmission.

Etere Censor EX Live Censorship

The Etere Censor EX Live Censorship service is the core component of the system. It manages the time delay buffer generated by the Time Delay service and makes it available for censorship operations.

Using the delayed media, the service allows operators to perform real-time editing with a configurable delay (typically 10 minutes or more), ensuring that unwanted content can be removed or replaced before reaching the on-air output.

Etere AutoCensor

The Etere AutoCensor service analyzes the media files generated by the Time Delay service using AI-based content analysis.

Based on configured detection criteria, the service identifies potentially sensitive or inappropriate content and suggests censorship points to the operator. These recommendations assist the operator during live editing but do not replace manual review.

Etere Censor EX Desktop Application

The Etere Censor EX desktop application is the operator interface used to perform censorship operations.

Through this application, operators can monitor the delayed content, review AutoCensor suggestions, edit video and audio, insert replacement material, and manage all censorship actions before the final output is transmitted on-air.

The desktop application communicates with the background services, which perform all recording, buffering, processing, and media management tasks.

Licensing

Each CENSOR EX service requires a dedicated license to operate.
